The people’s deputies ratified the Memorandum of Mutual Understanding between Ukraine as the Borrower and the European Union as the Creditor, signed on February 25, 2013 in Brussels and on March 26, 2013 in Kyiv and the Credit Agreement between Ukraine as the Borrower and the National Bank of Ukraine as the Creditor on Providing Macro-Financial Assistance to Ukraine amounting to EUR 610 million on the part of the European Union, signed on March 26, 2013 in Kyiv and on April 16, 2013 in Luxemburg that come into force on the date the European Union receives official written notifications on the part of Ukraine on fulfillment of intrastate procedures stipulated by the Ukrainian legislation and needed for enactment of these agreements.
Parties to the Agreement agreed that the first two Tranches will be disbursed according to the Decision 2002/639/EU and the latter two Tranches – according to the Decision 388/2010/EU.
Under the Agreement, Credit payment period should not exceed 15 years.
